Diamond Head State Monument

Hawaii’s most iconic landmark is known for its historic hiking trail with stunning views of the Pacific and Oahu’s south coast. The 0.8-mile hike from trailhead to summit offers quite a workout as you gain 560 feet from the crater floor. The trail also offers a glimpse into the crater’s extensive military history.
